The firm - History

Founded in July 1992 by Serge Goudreau, CA and Jocelyn Poirier, CA, the firm of chartered accountants Goudreau Poirier sets up its office in the town of Dorion. Mr. Goudreau and Mrs. Poirier have an extensive experience acquired in regional, national and international firms.

Rapidly the increasing number of clients brings the firm to move to Vaudreuil in the actual facilities.

In November 2003, Mr. Roger Laurin, FCA, with 38 years of experience acquired in other firms, joins Goudreau Poirier. The firm then proceeds with the opening of its second office in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield. During the year 2009, Mr. Laurin takes a well deserved retirement.

In January 2008, Goudreau Poirier S.E.N.C.R.L. decides to incorporate and becomes Goudreau Poirier Inc.

In September 2009, three accountants are appointed partners with Goudreau Poirier. Mrs Josée Larocque, CA, Mrs Chantal Moniqui, CA, and Mrs Erika Mersseman who have many years of experience with the firm.

This team of professionals is composed of chartered accountants, licenced general accountants, tax specialists, commodity tax specialists and accounting technicians.
